SA Association of Veterinary Technologists

Membership to the Association is open to any person registered with the South African Veterinary Council (SAVC) as a Veterinary Technologist.
It should be noted that registration with the SAVC is compulsory for all persons working as a Veterinary Technologist within South Africa. Membership with the SA Association of Veterinary Technologists (SAAVT) however is voluntary.

The current membership fees are:
Senior member: Persons who have already completed the qualification - R150 per year
Student member: Persons currently studing Veterinary Technology - R75 per year

Membership fees are payable annually before 31 March. Non-payment of fees will result in being removed from the membership list.
A re-application fee of R450 will be charged to persons previously removed from the list.
